2024 Hope PMBA Enduro Series Information
A BIG year for PMBA Enduro.
10 years of the PMBA Enduro series!
Yes, 10 years of the series! We may have run the first event on 2013, but that was a one off at Gisburn, the “Escape to Gisburn” event started the journey. However 2014 saw the first full series, we visited Gisburn, Grizedale, Lee Quarry and Kirroughtree that year and it seems only fitting that the only venue of those we are using in 2024 opens the series; Kirroughtree.
A big year, but a smaller series
A lot of change is happening for 2024, and because of that at this time we can only announce 2 confirmed events. Work is ongoing on new venues, and we hope to announce more rounds in January. Maybe we’ll even have something to take on “The Epic” badge and its traditional date on the late May Bank Holiday – odds are 50:50 at the moment but behind the scenes this is what we are aiming for.
Ae Forest – 17th/18th August

Kirroughtree
We are building on last years format, still with Hope Women and Hope Academy mashup Enduro’s on the Saturday, providing that grassroots entry into Enduro. For the main enduro, after 10 years the event goes from a 1 day format to a 2-day event with practice on the Saturday and your race lap on the Sunday. This boost enables us to reach deeper into the forest and put on a ~8 stage Enduro with 1000M of elevation over 40km, new stages on bigger hills further from HQ. Ebikers get some tweaks to the stages to give them even more fun; and if 40km and 1000M elevation is too much there will still be a “lite” loop available with ~4 stages and 20km
Ae Forest – National Enduro Champs
The grassroots side will not be forgotten, and again as last year Hope Academy and Hope Women racing on Saturday will be novice friendly and feature a fully trail centre loop.
The event will also be livestreamed, we did it last year and aim to do it even better in 2024.
